Have you stopped or started any new medications recently? Sounds similar to DT's but I know that's not it. However, stopping a med abruptly could have same effect? I've had itching like that, but never mistook for bugs, although I could see how one might. Like to have drove me crazy. I truly understood suicidal impulses for the first time. Turned out to be either Tofranil, a tricyclic antidepressant I had taken for years, or the pink dye used to make the caps [got similar reaction to pink and white benedryl].
