Hey Vonn, good to see you here! I read your quilting posts and I keep eyeballing the unfinished one in my closet... it is an old fashioned crazy quilt. My Great Aunt Ola gave me the top she pieced together in 1977. In 1988 my mother in law helped me stretch it and we put batting and a backing on it. I was suppose to use a portable quilting frame and do the final stitches and closing. Here it is 2009 and it still isn't done! I'm thinking of just doing the tied yarn thing and just machine stitching on some wide binding tape to finish the edges. Most of the fabrics in the quilt are from the 1970s so it really has some wild psychodelic patterns ...truly a crazy quilt.

Maybe I'll get inspired this winter!
