Instant Sleep State of Being
Also, I drift off to sleep without notice. I have had my bouts with insomnia, and KNOW what that is all about. The instant sleep state of being, is another story. I wake up having jerking movements throughout my body. It happens at home, hubby driving with me in the car, restaurant...Scary!
I have not changed my medications. I have dealt with intense pain the last few days because the rain is trying to break through.
Your input would be appreciated.

Hi Dew,
I'm sure sorry about the jerking, dropping things and the body pain/ache
is bad here too. I had the jerking for several years, but don't have it now. But, RSD is an autonomic disorder, which means the involuntary organs are affected. For me, it was usually while relaxing-watching tv my legs arms would just fly around. And going to sleep, or even be sound asleep, legs would fly up head would jump right off the pillow. I was on 3200 mg of neurotin for a long time and it all went away. And about 9 months ago when I started going off the meds slowly, they didn't come back. I've had a couple of spells, but that's all. I'm not affected by the dropping things. I do stumble and run into things more.
But I have read several posts here from our RSD friends, and many of them have these problems.
How are you doing? Meds straightened out?Glad you have attorney to lead the way, although I know you do your research. How's is Wanda? Back to work isn't she. I know she feels good about that, but probably wore out until she builds her stamina up.
I've been enjoying the US Tennis match. Laura and I went to it in 98 for 12 days. Was so much fun.
Take care of yourself. Did I tell you I got a ticket last month. They put up two new red lights on scottsdale rd. I didn't go thru it or didn't even go under it. I stopped and backed up3-4 feet. When I pulled over(I knew he was behind me) I wondered why I was stopped. He said-red light. And I kindly said, but I didn't go thru it or even under it. He said, but you crossed the white line. We had pulled into shopping center to get out of traffic. But I called the city the next day and asked them when they painted the white stripes. They gave me the date, supposed to fax it over. I knew there wasn't a white line painted yet. So I'm hoping to get that excused, as they hadn't painted it yet. 2nd ticket in my life. It could go either way,but I'd rather have a couple massages than pay the ticket. smile
Boy, we have been having 114,so hot, but starting to cool down.Take care. Your AZ buddy, loretta
