Simple acts of kindness have profound healing effects, and often take us by suprise. I'm not sure which role (receiver or giver) is more beneficial, but I do know kindness is essential to peace of mind, and community.

From that prospective, let's take time in the coming year to be kind and gentle with ourselves.
