I was recently diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism....my TSH level was 4.7 and that can be treated if there is symptoms she thinks my issues are thyroid relate and have nothing to do with b12, which is nonsense to me....the only symptom I have of thyroid is fatigue but I think this is from my low iron stores ferritin. I haven't heard of numbness being apart of thyroid.
Im so confused, I have the thyroid pills but am not sure if I want to take them.

you really want your TSH 3.5 or under.....you doc is prob going by the old standard of 5.5.....perhaps a complete thyroid testing should be done....goo luck
