Default CMT & Menopause

OK. Throw menopause on the list (verified by bloodwork).

I don't get a whole lot of hot flashes at night; but, when the menopausal symptoms start, it really gets the CMT buzzers going, then the muscle cramps start (and when I say muscle cramps, I mean SEVERE cramps). Wave bye bye to sleeping!!!

I am now beginning to believe that my CMT symptoms were awakened by the onset of menopause.

I haven't tweaked my existing supplement regimen (calcium + D, iron) since all this started as I am still doing my research, and I am not on any meds for either CMT or menopause. I've never been one for taking things as I've always been very healthy and active up to now, and I am hesitating to start.

I am sensitive to meds, since I rarely take them (on the rare instances I have taken 1/4 gravol or a muscle relaxant, I am out for the count for two days).

I seem to be lucky in that the symptoms for both are currently mild; but, I dread the prospect of things accelerating (which I'm sure they will).

Any advice / direction from anyone out there who have these two wonderful items happening at once?
