I'd do some gentle range of motion stretches for the neck first since it has been bothering you and then more down and out to the arms and hands.

Sharon Butler has a repetitive strain book that show good gentle stretches that might be helpful for both areas.. her book is in most libraries.
She also has a website, www.selfcare4rsi.com.

The nerves of the arms/hands do originate in the c spine/neck and travel down around the muscles, tendons and bones, so they can get irritated or pinched anywhere along the line.
Where the symptoms show is not always where the cause originates from.
