Oh, we've had many posts on here about it. Do a search at the top of the page. Brian has had success with them too.

I only use very strong neodymium ones. I've used them for over 10 yrs now. Not every day tho. Now I do my old cat with a "treatment" when she comes to bed with me. She relaxes instantly and goes right to sleep. Without the magnet she is always bothering me. She has arthritis too, and limps and has trouble getting around now. There are no drugs for cats other than prednisone for this, and I don't like to give that unless she is really really bad. I start at her head with the magnet in my palm and do her neck and spine. I've tested her without the magnet in my hand, and she shows no response to the touching.
So I know it works. With a really strong magnet you don't have to wear them all day, you can just put them on for 1hr or less.

This is similar to what I have now (but mine are not coated like this one is). I think I'll get 2 of these also. I like the coating.
I only paid about $1.25 for mine years ago. I used to have smaller ones, but these 1 inchers are better IMO.

This one is more like the ones I have now:

For most purposes you would want the S pole against the body.

Weaker magnets do not penetrate deeply. I don't advise using them near the eyes or on the head. (but some places advertise head use for headache). I am leary of the head. But I have used them for neck spasms, I sometimes get on my left side.

You cannot use them if you have a pacemaker, or other implanted device. And I don't advise going on the computer with them either.
