im only a few years older and have the same issues with meds. i cant sleep from pain and insomnia. over the years i have done about everything for. it. done benedrly nothing. right now i am taking nortriptlyne and on and off again lunesta. have tried all the natural meds and nothing. but with your reactions i would be very careful. and talk with your doc again .. have you tried any of the ellivil or anything like that?

just a thought. i know how hard it is not to be able to sleep i go through periods like most on here that are up for almost 24 hrs or longer with no sleep insight.
