Exclamation Son with ACM type I

My five year old son, Matthew, suffers from ACM. I realized it about 1 year and a half ago when he took a nap at the sitters adn woke up with one year in. here we are 1 yr and a half later, both eyes have inverted in (Strabismus), when he talks, he has difficulty with concentrating and thinking is difficult sometimes. He has a problem with word finding and stutters when he needs to tell you something. He does have headaches, suffers chronic sinusitus, complains that his legs hurts and neck hurts..
it is frustrating when you have to see your child suffer!!!! UGHHHH
I do know he has a 9 mm herniation with no syrinx (Thank God) but my question would be, should I fight for the surgery? Would he benefit from it?
I dont want him to get older and be co-dependant on pain meds. i want him to lead a decent life (I know Chiarians cant have NORMAL lives, whatever that is!!!)
Does anyone know of a GOOD Pediatric Neurosurgeon that takes Medipass with Medicaid? A Neurosurgeon that will listen to me and not look at me like I'm some kinda monster that climbed out my kdis closet or just brush me off, but a doctor that will listen and give me good advice???

If anyone can help me out, please email me at: **
it's hard enough to watch your kids suffer but to have to fight for decent medical advice is RIDICULOUS!!!

thank you all

Jasmine
