Hey hon! I would definitely go with the experts on this one!
IV IG is AMAZING stuff, but it IS strong so you'll want to go to somewhere with knowledge regarding it.
It will take about 2 hours to prepare the solution. Then you may want a PICC line to avoid being stuck several times. Trust me, it will come in handy!
The docs will probably pre med you with benadryl and tylenol and check your symptoms every 15 minutes until they reach your optimal rate. Some people can handle it fast - others, not so.
I LOVE IV IG! It is great! Just make sure to drink plenty of fluids before you go in and let the nurses know if you feel funny @ all!
