Sox - Holly gave great advice (You're a good mom, Holly). Get him all pumped and excited about going to school the next day. It may ease his Monday morning blues. (I used to have to do that for myself when I was working. LOL). Your cookies sound so yummy!
Kelly - How sad! That poor woman. Hope the rain stops soon for you. Maybe you can blow some our way. We actually had quite a bit of rain from the hurricane in Mexico a few weeks ago.
Hula - What an adventure. LOL. Glad to hear you beat the rain.
Thanks for the prayers for my dad. Not sure the extent of the cancer. He has some tests this week (X-rays, CT scans, bone scans etc.) to rule out cancer in any other areas of his body.
Didn't get any artwork in today as I spent the morning trying to get DD18s financial aid straightened out. Phew! I did it. They made a calculation error. The girl was so sweet though. I told her to get her calculator out and add up all the aid DD18 received. The number in the "system" did not match what I calculated. Poor girl couldn't figure out what was wrong with their system to make that error. Probably an error in a formula somewhere. Anyhow, it's all straightened out now and DD18 is back to not owing the school. Yeah!
Now, mom needs a nap.
