I understand how a condition can make one unintentionally offensive. My brain injury reduced my inhibition and eroded my capacity to self-censor.

Unfortunately, that sometimes means my brain can't keep up with my mouth and I can say things I shouldn't or really don't mean. It's one of the reason the divorce rate for folks with diffuse axonal injury hovers at around 80%.
