I wish I could tell you that your case sounds like a slam dunk for ssdi, but if you've read many of the stories on here, approval is a long road for most of us. I don't think they like to approve the more subjective cases, like your's and mine. For instance, I had chronic knee pain for 20 years that was an inconvenience but certainly didn't keep me from working or enjoying life. My severe chronic neck pain is debillitating ...it keeps me from working and bathing/dressing most days. I think they look at it like it's all chronic pain...what's the big deal ?

It should help that all of your docs are supportive. In my case, because it was also worker's comp. they were also seeing the WC docs who of course said I was faking it, etc.

Are you homeless now ? Are there any social services that are involved because of your kids that could help try to push this through for you ?
