Good morning everyone! Wow....what a difference a couple days makes. It's sunny and warm here today...just beautiful out. More rain is expected this weekend but nothing like what we had this past week.
Sox, I feel so bad for your son. He sounds like he has such a tender heart. I bet he's a very compassionate little guy.
Does the school he goes to incorporate the learning challenged students into the classroom with the mainstream students? The reason I asked is because when my two were in elementary school I remember oldest DS had a learning challenged student in his class. I think they were trying to instill some "sensitivity training" into the mainstreamers and let the challenged students interact in a regular classroom. Each student had a day where they were the challenged students "buddy" and they helped him with whatever he needed. Perhaps your son could benefit by being another student's "buddy"......maybe helping someone else would take his mind off whatever is making him fearful of school and give him a reason to "need" to be there. I don't know....just a thought. I feel for you...and him. As Mom's we have an incredible need to "make it all better".
Well, I'd better get moving. I need to go to PetSmart to get another large cat carrier. I have two but the latch on the one doesn't close properly and I need to have two functioning cat carriers....just in case. Just like this past week has shown me you never know when disaster will strike!
Ya'll have a great Wednesday!
