After the first few treatments, the color started to return to my foot and ankle where the original injury occured. After each treatment, I can walk normally for a few hours before the pain comes back, and yesterday, the shower spray hit my foot, and it didn't send me through the roof! I am so hopeful and excited. I know not everyone can do this therapy, but for those who can, it is definitely worth a try. It is only costing me $62 per treatment becasue my insurance pays 80%. The doctors recommend 20 treatments minimum and then they decide whenther you shoud continue on depending on your response. If your doctor will give you a prescription, more insurance companies are starting to cover this as a treatment for RSD. Even if this doesn't put me in complete remission, if I can help others to find some pain relief and hope, it will be well worth it. Best wishes to everyone, and I will post again when my treatment is complete.
Hi Amb97,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience about HBOT. My Dr. is a neurologist, pharmacologist and pschiatrist. He has saved my life. I still suffer but not to the extent as before his care. Are you going 2.4 or 2.5? He just built two clinics that each have HBOT. They also help people before and after surgery for healing and other illnesses. Thank you again, loretta
