I lost the strength in my arms about six years ago, and the strength in my legs about four years ago.

I wear 1.5 lb wrist weights a couple times a day to try to help control my tremors, and these seem to have helped a little with my arm strength.

I wear 2.5 lb ankle weights, also for the tremors to help steady my walking. I haven't noticed any strength coming back since I started using them, and they do wear me out so that I can't wear them for long periods of time.

It seems that the higher I try to lift my arms, the less strength I have. Also, putting my arms straight out in front of me or out to the sides makes them a lot weaker. I still try to lift hand weights (3 lb) once or twice a week. I try to ride my exercycle once a week, plus I do stretching exercises to try to relieve my leg spasms.

I think some of this is helping, but I can't help but feel like a big mess.

I despise this disease and what it has taken away from me and everyone else!!
