stool test positives
Curious to get your feedback on my daughter's stool test results from EnteroLab. She's 18 mon. She's positive for gluten sensitivity (anti-gliadin and anti-tTG), as well as casein, egg, yeast, and soy. Fortunately negative for malabsorption.
My understanding is that the EnteroLab testing is quite reliable, unlike some mixed reviews I've read about IgG panels, but I'd be curious to hear your opinions.
The only one of my daughter's results that surprised me was the egg. While I had suspicions or was fairly certain all the others caused her problems, she shows no symptoms with eggs and actually enjoys them. Frankly, I'm not sure how I'm going to feed her without them, as her diet is already extremely limited. Right now she's on an SCD diet b/c she's had trouble with carbs, so we're using eggs to hold together almond flour muffins, chicken pancakes, banana pancakes, pumpkin cookies, etc. It's going to be a challenge to get rid of them.
Do you know if this sensitivity will last a life-time or might she outgrow it / heal from it? Is it likely to extend to all eggs or just chicken eggs?
Any other tests you would suggest? Any leads or suggestions? I'm feeling at a loss. Even the SCD recipes frequently call for dairy and eggs.
Thanks.
