Every other SCS that I have seen has a remote. The one that I had installed this week has a paddle and a cord hooked to the remote. (I am sure that sounds as weird to you as it does me explaining it, lol!)
When I change my settings, or turn my stim up or down, I actually have to put the paddle on my stim, which, 3 days post-op, hurts like, well. I am sure you know what it hurts like!
This is not the same device as what the rep and the doc went over with me at my trial. I am really frustrated! Not to mention, the surgeon soent 15-20 minutes going over where the stim was going to be placed before they rolled me in. When I woke up...it was in a totally different location! Yep, I have a big butt, but man oh man!
