Bobby had a stroke 6 months ago and I can see how it affected his speech. He was really self conscious about it at 1st I believe. I would imagine that your boss should understand it if she/he knew you had a stroke and would need to make appointments. But then some bosses only care about the employees being at work. It's a tough call to make.

I can imagine how frustrating talking to the doctor's office was also.
