I thought the welbutrin was making you hypomanic...sorry I am confused about how the meds are effecting you.

hmmm, surely you can grace me a double negative every now and then?

i said it that way because October mania / hypomania is not frequent in an absolute sense, i seem to be more susceptible to it at this time of year. It has happened several times in the past.

As for my current symptoms, i do not recall saying the Wellbutrin was making me hypomanic. i think i said nervous agitated tense and activating, but even activating does not mean hypomania necessarily, and that is not my case in fact.

(it is really really really hard to describe.)

so what am i saying? feeling carefree, disinhibited, full of energy, motivated, enterprising and joyful - that would be FUN.

THIS (which, just for starters, IS inhibited, drained, tense, anxious, dispirited and emotionally fragile) is NOT FUN.

therein lies the difference. and a big difference it is.

i am sorry for the confusion. it IS confusing.

thank you for caring.

p.s. of course, i know hypomania/mania wouldn't be "good" in the long run... i was sort of kidding... one can dream?
