i'm sorry about that Barbara.

Well. I can understand feeling bad about the woman telling you to stay home (if i got that straight). Sounds like she feels a bit possessive of Bobby.

I don't really know how one is supposed to behave (with regard to being around people with sinus infections) when one has just had cataract surgery.

But I am sorry you are getting hurt in all this. I guess if i were to make any suggestion it would be to try to think about it as little as possible, but i know that is easier said than done.

Often things are a little different than they seem. Bobby has really been a good friend - and I don't think that has changed even if he is avoiding you because of your cough, whether because of the cataract surgery itself or because the elderly friend spooked him about "germs" somehow.

So, at least keep reminding yourself that he is STILL your good friend. I believe steering clear of your cough is "about him" and transitory. I don't think it indicates your friendship is any less, and i hope you will not let it impact it either.

I am sorry though. It really is crummy to be sick and have to stay holed up, and then just when you think you will get to hang out with a friend, the person lets you down. Hang in there the best you can.

You can still cough on US all you want it comes "clean" across the wire!!!
