It's so wonderful to hear from you! It's really great that you were able to go to a spa, especially on an island, for your birthday - and that you have a good friend to take you there. I think it's so important to treat yourself to some relaxing and fun times as much as possible, even in spite of everything else.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My brother had the same type of cancer. It's so hard when you're fighting your own battles with illness and also have loved ones going through the same battles that you want to be there for and support. I admire your courage and compassion for others. You are a role model for us all.
