Doydie - What a great story! Thanks for sharing it. I think it is awesome that you and DH take her out like that. Those kinds of things are so important to people in nursing homes and they really look forward to them as well, more than people realize.

A little off topic but - Why in the heck did Medicare do that? That's just messed up. So for the next 2 years she gets to eat with only top teeth? And, could end up with trouble with her bottom gums. I really don't think that Medicare thinks these thing through. That's like telling someone they are only approved for a right lens and in 2 years they can get the left lens for their glasses.
