Actually, this guy may do more than just the acupuncture. A friend of mine was telling me about some guy in town she goes to. He does all sorts of things along with the acupuncture - counseling, massage, cold laser therapy, nutritional counseling and "balancing", etc. She said he is really expensive - about $120 a visit. The guy your mom told you about may be more like the guy my friend goes to.
I still say go for it. Go get your qui in balance.
