Red face

You know, pabb, I knew an elderly woman who could not drink black tea either. It gave her a horrible headache. The polyphenols in it seemed to bother her alot. She lived to be 103!!

Also you might be sensitive to the tannins in tea...so make it weak to start. I always use a sweetener (Splenda, now) and milk.
That seems to make it easier on the stomach.

But the coffee thing. I used to enjoy coffee, and about 5 yrs ago something changed for me... and bingo...it is off my menu now!
Not just heartburn, but severe cramping and diarrhea too.
I've always been sensitive to it, and only did one cup or so a day.
I could never drink it like some people do!
