Hello and welcome to NT.
I'm soooo sorry you have had to deal with RSD at such a young age.

Ask your doctor to have the company that he uses for the SCS to show you a vidoe and watch it with your parents. It will cover the procedure and what to expect. It has helped some of us and it has not helped others.

You will have it put in as a trial for approx. 5 days then you can have it implanted or you don't have to have it implanted.

You can have it removed if it turns out not to be right for you. I had mine removed after 3years. It wasn't helping anymore and my doctors were in agreement to have it removed.
