Hi karousel,
That is wonderful news.

I hope the Provigil (Modafinil) works wonders for you. It doesn't cure the fatigue it just keeps you awake. That is what it is supposed to do. I used it when I worked, so I could drive back and forth to work and not fall asleep at the wheel.

Just some info:
I took 200 mg in the morning and another 100 mg at about 2 pm. That is a total of 300 mg. They said that some take 400 mg but it doesn't do any more for a person than the 300 mg does in clinical trials.

It may be too much for you. Play it by trial and error. I had to stop it on the weekends so it would be effective during the week. So if it loses potency, try to do without on the weekends.

They give it to the solders to keep them awake during the boring, long watch times, so they don't fall asleep on their duty hours.

There is a new one out now, Nuvigil (Armodafinil) it has a slightly different mechanism of action. Both are a wakefulness-promoting agent for oral administration. Not a stimulant.
