Hi everyone...
Will this cloudy rainy weather every clear up? Feels like November already, which will make the winter seem even longer unless we get a break

Of course this isn't as bad as the snow in Pennsylvania.
I saw the urogynecologist yesterday. I need a new urodynamic test and a cytoscopy to check inside the bladder. Some muscle tone is nada in the area, and we'll discuss options after all the tests are done...
So, I left the office, and walked out of the elevator atrium to the parking garage. I was looking up at where my car was parked and didn't notice that there was a 2" step (it was a ramp to my right). My foot rolled on the edge, and I fell, hitting my ribs, knee, right temple and right wrist/hand. I was yelling for someone to help, because I wasn't sure if I had cracked a rib or gotten a concussion (both were hurting, and I couldn't breathe right-got the wind knocked out of me). Just my luck, a very old man shuffles up. "You all right?" he mumbled. "No, I need help." He said, "There's nobody here." "Could you find help? I can't breathe." after a few seconds, he said "Well, okay." He shuffled off. I said to myself "I'm gonna die." (Esp if I had to wait for that guy to find anyone).
Luckily, another man came up to me and called 911; he was an angel; stayed with me until the emts showed up. The emts came after several minutes. I couldn't get up...my head and side still hurt, and I felt weird. So they put me on a gurney and took me in the ambulance....get this...across the street to the hospital...

After xrays (and about 3 hrs.) they didn't feel I had any fractures, so they cleaned up my face and sent me home.
My DH had a friend drive him to the hospital, which was about 40 mi. away from home.
So now due to my clumsiness, we'll probably have a nice ambulance bill...and I am so sore! My right wrist is the worst...at least I can type with it

My right knee is scraped and sore, which I wasn't aware of until I got up to leave the ER. And my temple has some nice color and a small bit of swelling. I still get a radiating headache, but that would be normal after hitting your noggin, I guess.
Sometimes I think my DH should wrap me in bubble wrap...he was so sweet...stopped on the way home and bought me roses...I am so blessed to have him!!
Anyway, the kids, after making sure I was okay, started joking (that's our coping mechanism). My oldest said maybe my MIL should be taking care of me and not the other way around...ha ha. And DD couldn't understand why I couldn't get up and walk myself over to the hospital...uh, yeah.
So I'm resting once again...feeling stupid...but blessed just the same...funny how things like this remind me how much I have to be thankful for...
Anyway, hope all of you have a great weekend!! And hope we get some sunshine!
