Lots of articles about this on the net, just google her and they'll come up. We never get the flu shot and have never gotten the flu. Everyone I know who has gotten the shot has gotten the flu! One friend told me the only times they'd ever gotten the flu were the years they'd gotten the shot. What the hell? They no longer get the flu shot(s). Instead, they spray this echinacea and bee venom (I think it is) tincture (so it has alcohol in it) in the back of their throat at the first sign/feeling of sore throat, lymph nodes, fatigue, and they have not gotten sick since using it. The whole family uses it.

Last weekend my daughter was visiting their daughter and I tried it. It BURNED the heck out of my throat, I assume because of the alcohol. And it tastes G-- awful. I don't know if I could spray that stuff on my throat several times a day, but thought I'd pass this along. My friend said you can get the throat spray at Whole Foods and probably other health food stores.
