I had to stop driving a couple of times because of possible seizure activity - MS related. While it was really, really hard to do I did it for the reasons you listed. 1) The legal part is scary. If you got in an accident just pulling out of your driveway and they found out that you were advised not to drive you could end up with a lawsuit, ticket, fines, etc. Financially, I could not afford to have this happen. 2 & 3) I don't want to have the fact that I hurt or killed someone because I was being stubborn and selfish. Someone loves that person just as much as those that love me.

Since there was a scheduling problem with my testing, I never got it done. My neuro told me I had to wait 3 months from the "event" with no more "events" during those 3 months. I waited my 3 months and then got behind the wheel. I did sneak in a couple of short drives. So far, I have not had another event. For me, I think it was the switch in generic Neurontin that caused the problems.

Stay safe, Debbie. I will keep you in my prayers.
