If I rest my bare foot on something, like the desk chair pedestal, the sensory impression of that remains in my foot for up to an hour and I feel like I am walking on some object painlessly imbedded in my foot. It is nuts. The other problem is the falling sleep sensation, which has caught me off guard. I stand up only to find I have nothing to stand on and it goes all the way to my hip. After several minutes (seems like hours), maybe 10 minutes, sensation is back and I can walk, otherwise it is like lugging a dead limb, and I have to lean on something. Usually, I stand on the good leg and wiggle until it goes away. Needless to say, I do not stay in any one position long, and it stinks because I have hypotension and get woozy standing for very long.
PN has lots of causes and lots of tricks.
