SSI really will not go by what the pt thinks because they are not a medical doctor.Does your pcp support you and any other specialists like a neurologist.I hope you have an attorney for your hearing. The judge will ask the voc.examiner if there are any jobs in the national economy that you are able to do,for instance if you have function in your other arm he might say you are able to be a greeter at walmart. If you do not have any other impairments i think it would be hard for you to convince the judge that you are disabled. What meds.are you prescribed do they make you tired and depressed,do you seek counseling for depression. What do you do in the course of the day, what is the most physical thing you do all day, these are a couple of questions the judge will ask. Most of these judges do aprox.4 to 6 hearings a day they have seen and heard it all.Just be honest and let them know how your disability affects you from working ANY job.If you have a good attorney he will know how to deal with the voc.examiner.I wish you luck and keep in touch to let us know how you did.
