I try the ENsure drink. But I just can't make myself eat protein which is what I should be doing to fight it all...

I have become such a vegetarian nut, too - I hate animal cruelty of ANY kind, so I don't want to eat the mediterranean way I used to, with roasted chicken, lamb, and free range grass fed beef...just doesn't taste right and I feel so BAD eating it, thinking about the poor animal's actual death...

And of course right now they are advertising real fur in the magazines - ugh - but fake fur is getting so good - Rachel Zoe has a line and on QVC and HSN they have some great fake fur options. I love the new vests with a shirt and long dark jeans and ankle boots....aaahhh, the good days when I lived in something other than underwear and in bed.

Yeah, you are still in a bad shape. I pray you get some relief and start turning around for the better. It can happen. Maybe not completely but it can improve.

Nutrition is so important to healing. come on now. You've got to eat better. I promise you eating what you're thinking is bad won't hurt you as much as not eating. You have to make some changes in your diet. You can do it. There's so many goooood things to eat that are good for you. allow youself some of those good things in life.

Depression is an appetite killer too. Could that be some of it?

I was raised on a farm, with a rather large family. We probably raised at least 60 percent of what we ate. We even gathered walnuts and had fruit trees. A way of life, so to say.

Meats were a big part of that. I know death to anything is cruel and final, but our animals had to best of care, even medical attention, food and living arrangements we could give them. We did have favorites that hurt if it came their time, but the need to feed our family surpassed that thought and the sad feelings. Plus the manure provided fertlizer for the crops. It's a cycle of life, a balance. Nothing went to waste. and the dogs and cats loved the bones...sorry but that's true too.

If you dont eat better, you will not be strong and cannot get strong. I know you won't flip over today and start eating everything in sight, but you should partake in some of the better food groups to help yourself.

Food supplements and vitamins may give you a boost too, but not like a hot plate of good food. I've seen it give a many a sick person amazing strength to get back up on their feet.

People get a lot of pleasure enjoying good food and good company.

It don't have to be meats. Peanut butter is a good substitute. I love peanut butter on wheat crackers and an icy can 7-Up, or a bottle pepsi with peanuts in the bottle. umm-umm good.

and I agree with the Botox scenario. Too much is not good. It is effective stuff.

There's just no substitute for good health, no quick fixes.
