Unfortunately I've read more than one story similar to this one down here . My closest friend here wasin a grocery store parking lot and some a-hole literally ran her down and fled the scene! Her scooter was mangled but she was ok, thank goodness. They never caught the guy who was driving a shiny, new Cadillac .

You could write to the newspaper and ask if anyone has started a collection of donations for the man. I really can't comprehend how some "people's" minds work. Sigh.
