There are several drug therapies they can try, like phenobarb, and depakote, and well...your md needs to give you a list. If you feel that you are stuck with an MD that isnt listening, or has reached the upper limit of what he is able to do for you, it may be time to seek higher ground, and a different MD.

The new days of mother hood are supposed to be special, magical and filled with wonder and glory, not ER trips, and hospital stays. Most women find that during pregnancy their MS gets dramatically better. They sometimes have a relapse after the estrogen comes back down to normal levels, but siezures are a horse of a different color.

I highly reccomend finding a neuro who deals in seizures as his specialty, and use the neuro you have now for the MS stuff. It is possible for a neuro to be more focused on what one brain malfunction is over the over, and not be as knowledgable as he should be on the others.
