I used to go late after work to the cemetary to visit a dear friend who passed. A friend who was going out with me after work followed along. It was getting kind late and dark in the day as we approached the grave. She wrapped her arms around herself and said "doesnt this scare you?!" I replied, "its not the dead I am afraid of, its the living!" And it holds true to this day.
I have a sister who would steal the shoes off your feet. She would harrass handicap kids in school and laugh as if because they were different, they didnt have feelings. I would stand with my mouth open and not know what to say. I still feel that her choices to be so mean and cruel, pushed me to be compassionate and led to a nursing career. Some folks just dont get it. They have zero ability to have compassion for others, handicapped or not.
I hope a company steps forward to get him a new or better one.
