Right hip is higher and mri results
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I'm hoping that someone can help me out. I had a L4 laminotomy and microdiscectomy in 2003. I also had a L5 microdiscectomy at the same time. I felt completely normal for 2 years after the surgery. Over the last couple of years I have had sciatic pain. My right hip is now higher than the other. I did 6 months of physical therapy about 2 years ago and I just finished 3 months of chiropractic. I just got my MRI results. It says "There is a persistent or a current extruded disk herniation which impinges upon the thecal sac and the proximal right L5 nerve root." Can anyone put this into english to help me understand it better?
Thanks,
Deb
