The day after I got out of my hospital stay, I got in a car accident on my way to work (not my fault according to witnesses.) I left the scene of the accident because I did not have my purse or wallet and I was not in the mood to deal with cops. Since the person who hit me was in the wrong, he was glad for me to tell him to get away

The purse was still in the hospital.
What a mess. (I drove that car with a huge dent in the passenger side for another 7 years after that.)

When I got home from work, I telephoned the chief of psychiatry to ask for my purse back. He said he would take care of it and make sure the purse was waiting for me at the front door.

I was really ticked off and still in the middle of my mixed state that had put me in the hospital. Somehow I was calm enough and resourceful enough to get my purse back.


I figured after being drugged and put in four point restraints, I was going to get my needs met.
It got the purse with wallet.
Soon after that my meds were changed and things eventually got better -- took many months after that, but things started getting better.
