I think it's probably pretty safe to say we all do, at one time or another. If you over do, you will most definitely react. My legs get fatigued and weak very quickly on uneven ground, or the sand at the beach. Sand is the worst, and the hardest for me to give up. I haven't given it up, I suffer for a few days after walking on the beach...just stubborn, I guess. Getting to the water is easy, getting back to the boardwalk is another issue.

I exercise every morning and my legs do get weak, yet I feel this is the best thing I can so for me. I do not over do, and I do not give in to muscle weakness. Balance is a big issue for me, so I do balance exercises every morning. In the long run, I am hoping this will encourage improvement.

That's all we can do..keep hoping for the best.

We urge all doctors to take time to listen to your patients.. don't "isolate" symptoms but look at the whole spectrum. If a patient tells you s/he feels as if s/he's falling apart and "nothing seems to be working properly", chances are s/he's right!
