Wink

We had two wrens sneak in one Xmas eve. I'll never forget it.
I keep a fake birds' nest in a little Tiffany holder on the screened back porch near the door. These two were roosting in it. They had found a hole in the screen, and were living there for who knows how long?
My husband came home in the dark and went thru that door, so as not to disturb us for some reason and he spooked them.

They flew right in! We got them to leave, via an open door.
But that took an hour or so. I guess wrens are known for making nests near people etc...we just didn't know this.
That's why they are called house wrens! It was quite the evening! I'll never forget it.
