Save you use of medical marijuana (MM) until you develop Alzheimer's Disease. We head injured are up to 19 times more likely to develop AD than the rest of the population.

AD suffers use THC to help them with anger and some other mood issues. The therapeutic dose is much less that that used to get high. Also, those who use MM for AD must be selective and get it at a reputable MM source. Street marijuana can be problematic from a therapeutic stand point.

There was a study in Israel that found it beneficial for brain injury but dosage was extremely important. Its value was only at the time of injury and shortly thereafter.

Even those studying its use determined that the risk of improper dose was greater that the possible therapeutic benefits.

A better treatment would be progesterone administered at the time of injury and continued for a short time thereafter. This treatment protocol is still being investigated.

So, stay away from the MM and alcohol and MSG, aspartame, caffeine and any other excito-toxins.
