I found this article and thought it would be relevant to us. It discusses rehabilitating a brain after a stroke, but the same principles apply to rehabilitating a brain after a TBI. The main take home message I got from it is that although rest is extremely important after a TBI, rehabilitation also needs to be done to rewire the brain, and possibly heal it, to operate more functionally. Enjoy.
