As my Spinal Cord Implant Trial date gets closer, I'm frantically trying to find SOMETHING i may have missed during all my other failed procedures.
One thing i never really embarked upon was the Trigger Point Injection route. To be honest, i don't even know much about it. I remember i DID ask a doc sometime during my 5 year ordeal, but i never got a straight answer?
Would it be possible to benefit from TrP injections in my case? My PN is in both legs with the most piercing pain at the knees. Each leg feels like it weighs 200 lbs and the BURNING pain is unbearable. I'm sick of surfing the web for answers so i thought maybe the friends here happen to know anything about this???
What is used in the injections? a numbing agent? I don't respond to any type of anti inflammatory meds. I've had a couple of sympathetic nerve block injections to the lower spine with very little shortlived relief. I'm just wondering if injecting SOMETHING where the small nerve fibers are damaged will be of benefit?
DESPERATE !!!
