Hey
FMS is a horrible disorder and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy! What may work for one person will not for another. I have had it for about 6 years and have tried SO many things to alleviate the pain/discomfort. The things that have helped me most are probably seeing a psychotherapist, doing relaxation daily, eating a good diet with plenty of fruit and veg and avoiding refined sugar as much as possible(definitely avoiding aspartame and other artificial sweeteners), doing gentle exercise i.e. walking, yoga. Holistic therapies such as Reflexology and Indian Head Massage I ahve also found helpful, especially mentally/emotionally. I have tried trigger point massage as well which was painful at the time but seemed to give me a bit more flexibility in the muscles afterwards...for a day or 2 anyway! Hope this is of some help to u. I think trial and error is the key and an acceptance that nothing will totally get rid of pain etc
