One friend told me I was a different person but a lot goes into that and not just removal of one amygdala. Also there are two, one on each side so my left should still be intact. Also I think that over time I became less defensive, but I did other things to help with that too so it is hard to tell The amygdala has to do with fear and flight or fight, so maybe my reponses mellowed out some.
