Default D.O. or M.D.

My Primary Care Physician is moving out of state. What a hassle! I can’t really say that I am heartbroken about her leaving, though. It is simple laziness that kept me from finding a new doctor long ago. That leads me to my question:

Some M.D.s are also D.O.s – which means that they practice Osteopathic medicine. Does anyone have any words of wisdom about, or general impressions of D.O.s?

Thanks
