Ada,
I'm a Master Plumber.
Turn the heat UP, and open the cabinets under all sinks!

Do this before pipes start bursting.

(In the future, when they call for cold, open those cabinet doors to let heat in).
Sometimes Garages need to be heated with auxiliary heat.

This is a common mistake folks make, turn the heat down, when it gets cold outside. (Not saying you did that). But, I've seen some real disasters, when pipes start popping everywhere, floods, ceilings down.

And, carry HO3 homeowners insurance. That covers this sort of thing..
