She started going for his dishes on the first day here. He didn't get upset about it then so I was hopeful that I'd be able to get them on the same feeding schedule eventually.
With our last two cats, we had one that ate upstairs forever! And there were such battles over the dish situation. . It was a male and female also, but she was older when we got her (the second cat.)
Tiger Puff was very overweight and Sweet Pea was a stringbean. You can imagine how it would be to keep the overweight kitty out of the nibbler's dish. It was a constant struggle. Also, I'm trying to set the rules that Rocky can't tease Daisy when she's in the litter box (and vice-versa.)
Tiger used to terrorize poor Sweet Pea whenever she was pottying. (And Tiger was nearly identical to Rocky in color and disposition. .
Sweet Pea was very similar to Daisy too, another adorable Tortie. .
