Default Recipes to ward off depression

Thanks ((L1) for posting the pie recipe. I am going to put it here as well. If you think that you might do better with a recipe that is easy and is for a meal rather than dessert, you might want to try this one:
----------------
Hamburger Soup

Cook/brown 1-pound ground round or chuck. You can add fresh chopped onion to cook if you like. Drain off the fat/liquid.

I like to slice 3-4 stalks of celery and saute them in a little bit of oil. You can add the onion here or during the cooking of the beef, which ever is easiest or preferred by you.

Put large can of V-8 juice (64 fluid ounces) into a pot. Add the cooked beef, celery, onion, and one package of Veg-All frozen soup mix (the one that has the okra in it). I prefer to cook the frozen veggies in microwave according to the package & then put into the V-8, but you can just put them in the pot if it will cook for at least 25-minutes.

I like to add a can of Del Monte Whole Kernel Corn and one of Green Giant Cut Green Beens. If you put 2-3 flowered celery tips into the V-8, it will give it a better "salty-taste" than actually using salt!

You can prepare this and then microwave a soup-bowl as wanted.
